Chapter 1 - The study of tone.

For the first chapter I have been making a study of tone using different media. I have been asked to do this by making  a series of columns in my sketchbook. On page one I have used drawing pencils, Indian ink applied with scrunched up paper, black biro and chunky water soluble crayon.

For page two I have used wax crayon rubbing on a basket, black marker pen cross hatching and black and white tissue paper collage.
